We have some of our favorite sermons available for you to listen to online. If you'd like to listen to the sermon podcasts, it's actually a very easy process.

What is a Podcast?

A podcast is actually a list of mp3 audio files that are sitting up on our servers. Using any of a whole host of programs, you can download that mp3 file directly to your computer and listen to it whenever you want. As we update our podcasts each week, you can also update your podcast to hear the latest posting.

How do I listen?

There are many different programs out there that let you listen to podcasts. For those who are new to this, you can start by trying out Apple's iTunes. Download and install it onto your computer. Once everything is installed, click on the "Advanced" menu setting and select "Subscribe to Podcast". A window will pop-up asking for an address. You will select and paste the following address into that window:

http://www.plainview.org/podcasts/sermons.xml

If you are using another podcast player, you will also subscribe to that feed. Once you click "Okay" you will begin to download all of the sermons. Once they are downloaded, you can click on them to listen. It's as easy as that!

How do I get new sermons?

You can always click "Podcasts" on the left hand menu of iTunes to access the sermons at any time. Once a week, right click on header that says "Plainview Sermons" and select "Update Podcast" to retrieve the latest files. If you need any help feel free to contact us!
